some gems from living in Commierado

  • You can not sell a car if its not registered. However, you need insurance when the car is registered. Except if the car is non functional (like in my case) but registered, it needs insurance, REGARDLESS of the fact that is not riding on public roads or even able to turn on. If you don't, you get fined by the county for a non insured, registered vehicle

  • Trespass laws in Colorado are dumb. Some shitty store front can put a no guns allowed on premises, and if you dont obey, you are illegally trespassing on the premises. So really your constitutional rights end where some libshit's feelings begin.

  • People here legitimately are of the belief that milk comes from the store and not a cow, that is HOW stupid the people who live here are. They only deal in the now, like bees, and never in the future. Hoarding, saving money, any kind of prudent concept is completely ignored for the do it now, and fuck the rest mentality. I was talking to my butcher, and he said as much too, that people here are looking for fights, but they have nowhere to displace their anger, so instead it gets sent off to bullshit causes.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Commierado is extremely polarized. No one likes the front range liberals, no one wants them here, but somehow, every time some liberals make up some new bullshit laws, the Colorado natives just accept their fate and move on. Absolutely no backbone in anyone. This is how red flag gun laws and a bunch of new commie laws were forced in against the will of the majority. At the same time, the commies willingly ignore any laws they dont like, causing very large asymetric enforcement issues.

  • Denver cops are complete assholes. They will arrest the local county cops in the surrounding counties who are open carrying and "trespassing" into Denver metro. Think about just how retarded this sounds. Essentially, Denver thinks of itself as above the law, flagrantly banning state law. A good example is the open carry ban, which is blatantly against the state constitution, but fuck it, its Denver, and Denver does what Denver wants. If its against the state law, some judge some time, in the next 50 years may or may not get around to striking it down, and even then, wont stop Denver from fucking up your life in the process to make a point

Lived in Denver for 20 years. Started to go to shit in the early 1990’s after the Rodney King riots in LA. Californians started to move into the state and now they’ve done exactly to Colorado what they did to Oregon. Former Californians are only 6% of Colorado's population. That's not enough to turn the tide. And that's assuming they're all liberals. I'm willing to bet more conservatives flee California than liberals. But, even if it's just a random sample of Californians which are 46% Democrats, then only 2.75% of Colorado's population are Democrats from California. No way is that possible to change shit.

A CA conservative is just right of pure communist. And 6% of a (relatively) wealthy influx with political ties and aspirations is more than enough to swing politics. Especially when every politician is a kike-owned faggot looking for any excuse to take more power. Not to mention that most of them will be moving into one county.

California was solid conservative until 1996. They only voted for one democrat president in 40 years. You think all those fucking white people just turned looney left? No. It's the spics, man. I dunno. I'm in California and almost every one I know is like "deport niggers and spics and jews" variety. You underestimate how many spics there are, and how systematically their representatives in government work to dilute the white vote. In California they force cities to allow huge condominium developments of "affordable housing" that are always somehow placed into white, conservative voting precincts. One building is enough to overwhelm the entire precinct. Then that precinct turns blue. That's a head-scratcher.

Property rights are the core element of individualism and personal freedom. Anything that reduces property rights is a bad thing. Sadly everyone seems to hate property rights these days. On the trespass law...that's easy to get around. All you have to do is say you didn't know/didn't see the sign. They can't prove otherwise. If they THEN ask you to leave and you don't, that would qualify as a trespass.

And yeah, major metro policing is constant overreach. Reason 874 to never live in or near a major city.

Regarding being unable to sell an unregistered car - sounds like there's a great business model, loading cars on trailers so their owners can sell them outside the state.

As far as trespassing and carrying a firearm, if you are concealed carrying there should be no way for them to know unless some shit goes down and you need to use your firearm for defense. The good news is if they know you have a firearm and ask that you leave, if you leave the premises, they can not ticket you for trespassing, only if you refuse to leave and the cops get involved. The way every big city seems to be headed is demoralizing and degenerate. I watchedcops pulling cars over for speeding while a bum shot up on the side walk.

Thought maybe you were mistaken, since people can have nonworking vehicles for various reasons.

However, it says that you have to have a non-operational registration or would be fined, as you'd already said. Not sure whether that non-operational registration requires insurance as I didn't get that far into it.
