So many more issues going on in this company than meets the eyes. First, it doesnt seem like anyone has a clue what anyone else is doing. Upon further review, the reason is simply, because management has no clue what's going on either. General assertions and behaviors are passed off in these humongous tasks that encompass a ton of things, usually 3 or 4 features baked into one big card item. When those tasks inevitably fail, the manager is annoyed and mad because we didn't meet deadlines, but then no one bothers to contact me or anything to fix the problems. I dont get a follow up meeting with QA or other developers, i am simply told to "make it work". And this is always the issue with these majority Indian teams, every person is trying to do the most minimal amount of effort to get paid, and it shows. Heck, up until now, i dont even know who the fuck is on the team, because not once did my manager bother to introduce anyone from the beginning of the time i spent here. So now im playing catch up trying to figure who the fuck everyone is. On top of this, apparently my job is 25% dev work, 75% cross team coordination. So im being paid a shity salary to do the job of 5 other people. Anyways, im lining up some new jobs now and time to GTFO, there's a reason this position came from a bottom of the barrel recruiter.

The thing is in a "healthy" environment, developer does work, tests locally, sends it to INT. Once code reaches INT, developers NEVER touch the code again, because the QA team promotes from INt->QA->STAGE, with a separate team for Prod deployments and testing. Right now shit gets deployed to INT and QA at the exact same time, by developers, completely negating the point of having two separate environments in the first place.

Can you tell me what INT means? Not familiar. We used to use term like DEV, Beta, Test, QA, etc…

Like a dev environment. Short for integration environment
