Ive been thinking of renting my house out and moving to idaho, but all this stupid shit right now, no way. The rule of law is nonexistant. Everything is run by feelings, all the way up the ladder. Peak clown world.

I actually used other laws to avoid paying rent for 9 months. But the landlord was a shady slumlord and I was convinced to move in by another tenant in the building and lured by its location and lower cost than where I had been at previously.
But if not for that I would have had to rely on ERAP. Which the landlord also wouldn't get the documents I required to file. So I'm sure he's been cheating on his taxes as well as not maintaining the building. It's literally falling apart. He didn't even show up to the final court date. Probably because he knew he would lose anyway.
But if my employment hadn't disappeared I would have paid because the state and federal government said it would still be a debt. Basically an unforgivable loan with no interest. This was all orchestrated. Ruin your credit and ruin your landlord so Blackrock can buy the property and you'll never have the credit rating to mortgage a house of your own.
I sense a wave of unexplained rental property fires incoming, and higher homeowner insurance rates for everyone.
