Last week my fiance died, took his own life. He was a man of many talents, he did so many different jobs throughout his short life including a commerical fisherman, marine, cop, and more. I was in love with him and wanted to have his children. Please promise your loved ones you will never take your own life.

Suicide is never the answer.

Sorry for your loss.

More often than not, it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I too am sorry for the loss.

I have to disagree, IMHO, it's not a solution.

The problem remains for those who stay.

The problem remains for those who stay. 100% have experienced.

It solves the problem for the one that makes the decision. But I agree, it's never a viable solution.

Ooof. Wow, never thought about it that way.

Great insight.

My condolences @yy99

The best thing I can tell anyone is do not take your own life. You'll want to see what comes next, no matter how bad things are. As we all have, there is a curiosity of what comes next in life. Don't care about what others think of you. Care for yourself and by caring for yourself, you will know that you need to be kind to and love yourself and not care what other people think of you

I am so sorry for you and your families. That is so fucked up. People, if you are feeling suicidal, TALK. You all have at least a couple people who care in your lives, I guarantee it. I don’t give a shit if you feel like you’re going to be an inconvenience, TALK. It is not worth it.

And chances are if you made it to this site, you are not just invaluable for being a person, you’re invaluable to saving western civilization. And for yy99, don’t you ever give up. I am sorry for your loss, please do not allow you or the rest of your family to just fall into despair. Talk. Bond with each other.

And know you are not alone. There is a plan in this, and the most horrible things that happen will be used for good. God is there in the middle of it. I’m praying and just know that I am praying for all you struggling out there, too.

The system is so debased it makes people hate themselves and drown in despair. Sorry for your loss.

Very sorry. I hope you eventually feel yourself healed.

Thank you, I know time heals all.

Nothing ever really dies. Enjoy thoughts of him but don't be burdened by the loss. Be happy he was here, not sad he's gone. Don't forget to say his name out loud. It matters.

The real pandemic is suicidal young men. We should all build them up when we see them, inspire and empower them. The cost to do this is minimal at best. The cost for avoiding it is awfully clear to see.

We all have a responsibility to be strong and to spread that to those around us.

I agree very much with you. However I also want to say, try to recognize if someone needs help you can't give. I wish I had seen that.

You didn't miss something if you didn't know what to look for. He would have wanted you to be happy, I'm sure. You will get through this.

Don't blame yourself. Not everything is visible or knowable. Seek help if you need any.

Prayers to you

If a wife suicides ppl ask demanding questions.

When a husband dies. Poor wife.

I watch missing 411- his son just did the same. He said more suicide in 2020 than the previous 30 years combined and shithead Biden who is pretending to care about our health wont acknowledge the off the charts suicide problem.

I just found out my favorite uncle has stage 4 cancer. He stops by almost every weekend to help with projects around my home.

I hope you can find some peace in knowing he went quickly and didn't have to suffer for weeks or months during a heavy decline. I feel awful for my uncle and these coming months.

If you ever need another female to chat with PM me anytime. Not many of us lurking around Poal.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

These are dark times and negative things can stack up on us quickly.

All of us need human interaction, the feeling of sunlight on our faces, and to feel like we're adding value/making some sort contribution/difference in the world.

I don't think I've ever said it, but a lot of people here do that for me, by researching and posting kick-ass content consistently, it makes this often lonely endeavor not so lonely.

I hope history remembers you all kindly, because I will, you fucking faggots ;)
