And they cannot have that, hence the buyups. One of the reasons for genociding the Kulaks is because they were self-owned farmers who owned their own land, properties, and were self-sufficient(generally speaking). *And* they were White. A major threat to any totalitarian. They've been fucking over farmers for decades now. And now's their chance to collect all the land they can.
