I've seen a few people in my neighborhood with U-Hauls and moving trucks, but my friend who lives in a apartment building closer to downtown says that sheriffs have already kicked out a few people from his building since about 8am today. Apparently they're going by when the evictions were filed by the courts, some dating back to February, 2020.

No water heater and the bathroom was a corner sink and a toilet. Bathing? Galvanized tub. Wallpaper? newspaper from the 40's pasted up. Cooking? Kerosene table top 2 burner. I could go on, but you get the picture. I worked my way out of there.

Same here. Asbestos insulation and lead in the paint too. Spiders and daddy long legs everywhere.

I look back on those times with pride.
