When I say radicals are energy theives, it's what they do, they snatch up electrons, they never give them up, because they themselves lack those electrons, that's what makes them so reactive. Very selfish. They rip the electrons out of atoms and take them for themselves, then the broken atoms find other broken atoms who can share their energy and become "balanced" and in that balancing act they release heat. The mass that is missing between the two when they share their energy is converted to energy in the form of heat.
