Owning a restaurant has got to be one of the toughest jobs in America today.
You not only have to comply with federal, state, county and city regulations as they apply to the health code, but you also have to make sure you don't discriminate against ...you know, niggers and other "minorities".
When I worked as a server, the minimum wage was $3.25 per hour. The restaurant was exempt. The restaurant paid me $1.55 per hour. I lived off my tips.
The federal minimum wage is now $7.25.
