If he's young and stupid, he's young and stupid lol. We all were. At least he has a passion for something. He just might like the electronic tinkering side of cars more than the mechanical. Educate your brother if your the one with the knowledge, see where that takes him.
tell him he needs to put batteries up his CARBURATOR
You can remove and clean the MAF sensor yourself, it's easy. A shop will charge 80 bucks.
Show him this video:
Tell him to get a bruh!
That's an alternator, not a turbo
Serious? I told the guy to give me a turbo tattoo.
Maybe he was confused, or a nigger?
i had to explain to the guy how a manual transmission works from top to bottom, because the guy didnt actually know how it worked. He knew how to use one, but that's it. The closest he got was to a very old jeep design from the 1940s which has long been deprecated for a much better design
New cars and tuners are increasingly going that direction. I can boost my new one +70hp/+100tq with just a ECU flash, but I don't know shit about how it does it. Has microphones in the cylinders which adjust timing based on the sound of pre-detonation, not to mention a 10 speed automatic...I fuckin hate computers. I can rejet a carb but I can't write that program. That's part of the reason why I love my WR250, I know what's going on and can fix it. You can't even fix a John Deer tractor anymore!
Honda? Careful those 1.5t engines suffer from LSPI. Even the 2.0t, I always advise against a lot of low down torque for reliability reasons. At higher revs and cylinder mixing is faster it becomes less of an issue.

No fuel no power. Engine braking is from the suck and squish strokes.
Huh. Good to know.
When the piston draws in air it does so against the engine's inertia, then when the piston compresses the air that also adds resistance. In fact energy is wasted in every stroke except the power stroke.
bet his 4cyl has a really loud muffler
The muffler is just part of the equation. Length pipe area, resonator placement, and wave tube(to control drone) all have a say in the overall tone of the exhaust. It's all about manipulating the wave pulses.
You can have an exhaust system thats quiet and civilized at low rpm and then turns into a screaming banshee at 8500.
another way to say immature
Incorrect, you're saying a $5,000 exhaust is immature, that is your opinion. Lots of engineering in something.
Asshole needs to fill his muffler with water to quiet the noise
how ya been? family good?
It’s going well; it really is. I escaped the big cities before all this shit hit the fan and enjoying living around normal people.
I take you you are well?
Teach him. Get him to help you fix up that pussy wagon
MAF issues can sometimes be traced to a torn intake tube.
What kind of transmission? Bummer I lost the 3rd gear synchro on my tranny. It was cheaper to get a new transmission than to rebuild it. I ended up having to rebuild anyway because the asshole that sold it to me didn't mention the cracked case.
