Canaanite contributions to technological progress in the levant are scanty, mostly it was the Sumerians and Egyptians. Cry harder semites.

And are you really going to try to play down the significance of wheeled vehicles?

Well there were almost no roads so i do think it's a bit overblown. They are only really significant to move forces quickly over expanses of land, which is a pointless endeavor in the absence of civilizations already established, worth trading and raiding.

You don't need roads for wheels to be useful, and wagons were developed before chariots were, they were already useful long before anyone thought of using them for warfare. Up until the development of the wheel, pretty much the only way goods could be moved inland was pack animals or on people's backs. Wheeled vehicles vastly increase the carrying capacity of a caravan making long distance trade possible in areas it could not have occurred before.

Yeah...because people not Aryans were using them trading in not Aryan commerce to not Aryan civilizations is my point.
