Nazis were just authoritarians who realized their level of control would be unchallenged if they could steer their countries away from some of the insanity that was developing along the racial and economic lines. Today's left is creating the perfect conditions for a return to that format of government. It worked well in Germany because they were starting from an absolute destitute state.
