Almost certain the other way around. The canaanites are their own people but some Israelites are taken into slavery there. Which means cultural transfer went both ways. The result is the pharisees came to be, combining their magik with Hebrew/Israelite culture. Which they then claimed as Hewbrews and Israelites.

The Hebrews stole all there stories from the Egyptians, Canaanites and other groups but mostly from the Egyptians. King David & King Solomon stories are stolen stories of Pharaohs. Who had a great Army and went to war with an Ark not King David but a Pharaoh. Who built lavish Temples with rare minerals and could run mining operations not King Solomon. PS the story of Jesus comes from Egypt you know that story about being resurrected after 3 days
