I drink a lot of coffee. The physical and emotional addiction is obvious. In a grid-down situation, the last thing I want to care about is alleviating the headache and depression caused from caffeine withdrawal.

I also like the idea of not using any drugs or sporting any dependencies. Save some money every month. It’s a damn racket and a pervasive one at that.

What’s your thoughts on the subject? I love coffee as much as the next guy but that stuff sure as shit isn’t going to grow in my backyard.

My thoughts on the subject are;

being so fucking weak of will that you can't break a dependence of a fucking chemical

Seriously. Get a hobby. Go outside. Live life. There are zero drugs, zero external chemicals that beat even basic chemicals from spending an hour working out.

Thanks, clutch. I really like this way of looking at it.

You don't need niceties. You need a fucking "slap" to the face like your mother would have when you were a boy. You're clearly admitting to the problem. Now it's no longer a problem: it's a choice. You're big enough to admit it. Be big enough to fix it.

Will do.
