I had a package confirmed delivered that never showed up. I called the company and complained about it. The next day guess what shows up? The original package. The mail carrier had stolen it and simply claimed it had been delivered. IT REQUIRED A SIGNATURE, AND THE DELIVERY NOTICE CLAIMED I SIGNED FOR IT PERSONALLY! Did not happen. And do you think they got my signature when they actually delivered it? No, of course not.
Well, it was my new SIM card for my cellphone. When I reported that it hadn't been delivered even though the mail carrier lied about getting my signature they started the process to deactivate it. So it only worked for a few hours after I got it even though I called the company to tell them that the mail carrier had stolen it and lied about delivering it but then delivered it after both the company and I called the post office to complain. So I had to get online and contact the company explaining that they needed to reactivate the SIM card. But they have no process in place to do that, "to prevent fraud". So I had to wait over 2 weeks to get a new card. I was without a phone for over 2 weeks because the USPS employees stole my mail and committed mail fraud. Absolutely no consequences for the theif. He's a nigger.
Wow, what carrier do you use? Last time I asked T-Mobile for a new sim (about 2 months ago) they had it to me in two days FedEx.
A T-Mobile network budget company. They sent it FedEx, but FedEx here uses the USPS for small packages.
Just prior and at the beginning of the lockdowns I had tried to verify my address with a self addressed envelope with some scrap paper inside. I did this 6 times at 4 different post offices. Only 2 ever showed up, and that was in late June and early July. In fact, the first one I got was sent AFTER the second one that was delivered. It still took over 2 weeks for the first one to show up.
Yeah, SmartPost is kind of iffy, only because it uses the post office.
It doesn't surprise me that you didn't get much of what you sent yourself.
