Hell, I dumpster dive all the time. I have an endless supply of shovels, gloves, wood (roots and pallet), wire brush and sanding attachments for high speed tools, all sorts of regular tools like screwdrivers, hammers, 3Lb sledge's, wire brushes, sanding paper, safety glasses, plumber's wrench's, parking blocks, high quality scrap metal, boxes for the cats, promotional stuff that gets handed out like hats, tote bags, Nerf footballs, baseballs, shirts, pens, notepads, coffee mugs, all sorts of stuff brand new! I give pretty much all that stuff away. Some I keep. Most of the shovels and straight sweepers have broken handles, so fix and shorten or new from other, the rest is firewood (ash wood) or useful misc. tools/functions. That is the "real" recycling that humans have always done. I want to give pretty much everything a second or third life. Except AntiClutch, and a few others. I applaud you for your using/recycling to your own benefit.
