Well, not sure how much it'll matter in the next few years, but the wife and I are officially debt free. Paid the house off in ten years, both vehicles paid off. Have a credit card that is really only used for vacations or emergencies and is paid off that month usually, unless it's something big.

Small victories I guess. One less kikey scheme in my life.

I have a fair amount of shtf supplies. preserved food, means to purify large amounts of water without electricity, personal protection, it goes on. I'm thankfully not at square one, but there are some shortfalls I do need to address

Consider looking into a freeze dryer, you can store meat and food for 20+years. If you live on a land with a decent number of trees, look into wood gasification to run engines and generators.

I have a freeze dryer. About half my garden goes into it every year
