There will be no knock on the door. They already have total control of all governments, industries and institutions. What is there to gain in having them bump off a few isolated free-thinkers? We don't matter. We pose no threat. Should several thousand guys like us suddenly die horribly or be disappeared, it will be a warning to others to slink into the shadows and begin making serious plans. The controllers do not want people like us dropping out of sight. They keep us right where they want us: in plain sight. That we are not eliminated is part of their scheme to discredit our kind. People do not go into crisis mode as long as folks like us are left alone, mumbling away online. Off grid, bunker digging survivalist minded independents are very rare because they don't see any threat. The rulers like keeping free-thinkers online, on smart phones, and inside the broader society. There is no reasl underground movement and we won't be needing one as long as we can move about freely and safely. First hard push will bring them a massive reaction, and groups will spring up as the need arises. They don't want any of that.
