I saw a post about how and how much shills get paid to comment and post which irritated me because of how often I fall for it. As hard as it is not to respond, remember they're getting paid for every interaction, even negative ones. The way you get them to go away is to not make it lucrative to be here. Do not engage or respond. Pretend they do not exist and they will cease to exist.

I think most of them have been given shit and merchant badges and some are grayed out at this point.

Don't even respond to replies by other users to shills, because the shill will get paid based on the length of comment trees as well.

They will respond by the small grouping to around a dozen or more to this post eventually. They have a script of insults and have to stick to it or add if it is required and you have to interact with them for them to get paid.
