I've started eating chicken for breakfast. It's really not bad. Just cook ahead of time and reheat.

Edit: because I do morning workouts and morning was the only time I drank protein shakes.

Do you know what your chicken is fed?

If not, I got bad news for you.

Local grass fed beef, tallow, butter, and maybe coconut oil are literally the only things left that aren't full of shit. Unless you're growing your own, which you should if you can.

Yeah I want to and been looking into it. I need a really good coup or a good sheepdog. Coyotes round here.

Plus once you've got a solid farm and livestock you're basically stuck there. Can't travel anywhere or else they'll die.

Beef is easy though, just buy a cow from a rancher, have him deliver to a butcher. Just need a big freezer is all.

Get some friends together and split that cow up. Some farmers will also let you buy half or a quarter cow.
