Someone asked me why Terry is such a popular guy with internet nerds like us Poalr Bears, so I thought the response deserved its own post.

Unlike Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, Terry actually put in the work to make his operating system. In a just world, he’d have been recognized for his brilliance and given the respect he deserved.

The fact that more people know Bill and Steve than Terry highlights how unjust and corrupt our world is: it’s the slimy people that win.

In other words, it’s a cruel wakeup call that life isn’t fair: you can be a genius and never be recognized due to factors out of your own control.
