Absolutely, calisthenics are not ever to be dismissed as some kind of pussy workout or whatever. I got real results within six months when I was doing it paired with keto. Dropped 60 lbs and gained abs. Best shape I've ever been in.
I did weight training most of high school, mostly for wrestling they kind of let us take it easy when I was in baseball. I always felt too big, like my body was hindering my range of motion.
Switched to calisthenics dropped two weight classes and jumped up in rank like a motherfucker. I'll never go back.
I wish I had done wrestling. I did football instead.
