Because better technologies exist to prove fakes. Why fake anything when you can convince the public to give you an unlimited budget and you can use that budget to pay your friends in the contractor space. What's fake is it having any value.

Exactly. The fact that they managed to get nazis of all people to engineer a spectacle for the masses, to put the masses in a permanent statist hypnosis (a state system they control), is their greatest achievement.
