Masks have a couple of functions. If you are a liberal, it's a badge that says, "I'm one of you guys. We're in the same club. I believe all the crazy bullshit your tame media puts out every day, and I like it." The other function is to identify sane people, so that they can be made targets by the liberal fascists and attacked in the streets and in the stores. "You don't wear a mask? You must be one of them. You deserve to die!" The nationalists who do knuckle under and do wear a mask are reminded every second of how gutless and weak they are, by the stinking wet thing hanging off their face.
