My lesson came after i had got out of the military, been out about 3 years. Went to a decent clinic in the area and said i needed a physical because i hadnt had a checkup in about 3 years. Nurse schedules me. Indian girl doc comes in, asks me what the problem is, i tell her i just need a physical because its been a while. She tells me, "no, whats wrong with you." "Nothing, I just need a physical to see if anything could be." "Well you came to the Dr because something was wrong with you." "I came to a Dr to get a physical. I used to get one yearly." "Nothing hurts or is bothering you?" "No." "Why are you here?" I looked at her dumbfounded, we were well past any language barrier. I said "I dont know why I am here." I stood up and left. When they billed me, I called and asked what they were billing me for. There is still a 300$ hit on my credit keeping me from a sub prime score...
