Theory: 1150 chess players are actually 1400 players in a shitty place in their lives. Those guys always put up a better game than a 1250 but they stay an 1150 by being wasted. I've done it.

Yes, that is correct. At the start of each game, the knights, the rooks, the bishops, the queen and king, are all protected by a line of pieces called "butt-plugs."
