We were too obsessed with memes and somehow thought they were an automatic victory. I was already sick of the explanations "but you don't understand the power of meme magic," way back in 2015. When the side that is supposed to more rational and grounded decides "If it makes a good meme it's obviously the right answer." Then we descend into clown world. We pursued our role incorrectly and the world suffered. No more meme magic. If you still think meme magic is the answer you clearly are in it for the lols and don't actually care about our future. You can't meme a good president into office. You really can't do much of anything. Even our "greatest victories." Remember how we made the ok symbol a hate symbol! Yeah, well .now the ok symbol is a hate symbol. And the left can ruin a person for the most innocent gestures. If you think demonstrating that they are ridiculous is helpful, they don't need any help appearing ridiculous. They plainly are and anyone could see it. Their power is that they don't care if they are so obviously ridiculous. The more ridiculous they appear the more power they have because that's what people fear about them. Stalin did it best. By punishing people for illogical and inconsistent reasons he caused fear in everyone and made them think about everything they did. Our job instead was to be reasonable ourselves.
