Tats are far worse because they show a lack of judgement. No matter how much you think your tat is cool now, it is almost guaranteed that you wouldn't find it cool in 30 years. People who already have them talk themselves into liking them 30 years later, because what choice do they have? But someone without tats at 50 would not think the same tat was cool as their 20 year-old selves did.
When I see a girl with a full sleeve or some gross shit, it's 90% as bad to me as if she dropped her pants and revealed a dick.
