You'll still see the banner ads periodically (unless you have AdBlock or some other blocking software), but those annoying 30 second ads at the beginning no longer show up.

Just delete the "you" and insert "hook" in your link before posting and voilà... no more waiting for "SKIP AD? ---->" ever again.

Weird. Never had that happen, but hooktube usually tells me api error over quota.

unfortunatley invidiou.us (which was the best yt fork ever) has shut down, but there are instances such as yewtu.be and invidious.fdn.fr and invidious.io
