Victimhood is a disease, almost like an addiction, and it's enabled by well off people with compassion. The more they cry how they were persecuted by circumstances, the more these enablers will help them and clean up after them.
Only weak people want to be forever victims and leech off of the well-to-do people. And they end up creating more weak people. That's how the road hell is built. Paved, paid for, and even cleaned up by people with good intentions.
