I find it similar when you talk to someone with 10+ years experience with a very specialized skill or area. Like I really know computers and IT in general, but I can talk to a hardcore cobol programmer for example and my mind is swimming. But I can appreciate they know what they are talking about. Same for other things like an expert wood worker, mason, sports people etc... 187 IQ not required IMO.
