In mid 1970s the government also conducted test of airborne particulate birth control. Sprayed it into huge fans on rooftops of St. Louis black housing projects and told them it was for mosquito control. Not discovered until years later when a Mizzou grad student found public records of funding in library basement. Sadly, according to birth rate data of localities treated, it didn't work.

It doesnt look like it was being used for birth control at all but to study dispersal patterns in case of a radiological attack because of its fluorescent property. If they dispersed it in sufficiently sparse concentrations it would not post a significant risk.

Why do you think it was birth control? There’s got to be better substances to use than that stuff.
