First off, I always thought I had the best inlaws. My family is broken and riddled with bullshit, from faggotry to hippy bullshit, my family is pretty intolerable. My inlaws were always "easy."

Ive had discussions with my father in law about the JQ, about politics, pretty much anything. Had a lot of good times with the old boomer. Then the holocough rolls in and it all changes. He's 100% programmed. We got into heated arguments about masks, about the vax, all of it. He went from "CNN is fake news bullshit," to "OMG did you see what CNN is telling us to do today!" Its all been very tough for my wife and I to see him (and the rest of the family) go this way

We usually have dinner with him and his wife once a week to catch up and hang out, as we did last night. The topic of course goes to the vax and how his company is handling it. He runs a large multistate business, so its a topic of concern. What went down just gutted me. They are implementing rules that are just off the rails. It boils down to they are working with their lawyers to find ways to not hire people if they refuse to comment about the vax, and ways to fire employees that dont submit. Their company did a state sponsored vaccination (govt pays them for each shot) and they are offering a $50 walmart card if you take the jab.

The other big issue he's wrestling with is he doesn't want to "create division" among the vaxed and non vaxed. Which after the last words out of his mouth, was just absurd.

So, my wife and I are wondering when they will stop talking to us over all of this. Hard to run a huge company that fires people that dont get jabbed, and wont hire people that arent vaxed, and then go home and hang out with non vaxed family.

It's all so tiresome.

The worst part of this world is seeing people you love and respect fade into the faceless masses of drones. No more soul, no more love, no integrity, no critical thoughts... just programming.

It's kinda like watching that horse get sucked into the swamp of sadness when you were a kid

For most normies that watch mass media, the programming is irresistible. They think they are so smart, as they mutilate and kill themselves and others for the "good" of society. It's absolutely insane, but it appears that no amount of reasoning or logic or facts can break the programming. Personally, I've given up.

its just tough to give up on people you care about. As time passes, and he does more insane shit, the pain will pass. Its just a shit morning knowing I have to "give up" yet again

The more outrageous it is, the more they want to believe it and that fuels the circus show which furthers the degeneracy.

Seems like even asking would be a major HIPPA violation, but we can't epoxy our government to be consistent.

Power is displayed through hypocrisy.

His main office is in an "at will" state. they can fire people for "no reason." I asked him about his shady hiring strategies and he said they would be willing to lie about the reasoning for not hiring the applicant if they wouldn't point blank confirm they got the jab.

Part of why this hit so hard. This guy is usually very considerate and kind.

Even At Will States can't violate federal laws. For example even asking "Are you a Christian" opens his ass up for a lawsuit if the right trouble maker comes along. I suggest you just get out of the way, let him slam his cock in the door if that is the game he wants to play, change the conversation to something else, and I'm sure you will hear him scream when he gets caught.

Vacs are just this year's fad, by next year we'll have the Biden economy/wars in full swing and be concerned with that.

Yeah I mentioned something along those lines and it was either "we'll lie about it" or "thats what the (((lawyers))) are working on."

It's just so mind boggling to me that a once level headed dude is willing to lie, cheat, and bullshit his way though this nonsense

This is the issue I am having with my husband. I am afraid we will not last as I won't take the Vax and neither will I allow my child to either. This is the hill my marriage will die on if he continues.

it's a tough situation all the way around. Thankfully my household is on the same page. I guess try and hold the family together for your kid's sake, but if it comes down to protecting your child, you have to do what you believe to be best.

Men's emotional response to this entire pandemic still baffles me

When it comes to your husband you need to talk about “terrain theory”

Really research it and try to convince him that data shows viruses don’t exist.

You just described the exact same issue I’m having with a good friend of mine. He was once a “don’t tread on me” kind of guy - really gung ho about libertarianism and individual liberty... then this coronahoax hit and he’s gone full retard. He suddenly thinks it’s absolutely critical that everyone get the vax.

He even keeps throwing out hypotheticals at me trying to convince me to take it, despite me having a 99.98% of survival. Besides, I probably already caught it last year... but yeah, antibodies and herd immunity means nothing to him - he’s gone full retard and doesn’t even know what an immune system is anymore.
