I'm sitting there thinking that you're seeing direct observational evidence with your own eyes that this is potentially dangerous and you're still going to do it? I thought I was the stupid one here.

We're not going to be out of this thing for a long time because the sheep are completely put in their place and are going to do what they're told, even after seeing they're being led to slaughter.

There's nothing wrong with learning something new and changing your behavior based on that new evidence. That you can do so is the mark of intelligence, we don't continue to stick our finger in the candle flame because we learn it burns.

The problem comes when people refuse to acknowledge that a new idea has been presented and cling to their old views because they're more comfortable.

Thanks, I appreciate that. But absolutely zero folks like believing something for twenty years and then deciding it is stupid.

E: Especially since the highest ideals were things I praised, like liberty and freedom.

E2: Oh well, back to the drawing board. Maybe if we just reduce language down to simple terms like good, double good, double plus good? I think I am on to something.
