I am under the impression that it has its benefits solely because of how hard the establishment worked to make it illegal. That said, while it is nothing I will jump at, it is something I will consider as a last resort when all else fails. What I personally think will benefit me at least would be to move out of this god forsaken blue state and move to a place that is more respectful of citizens. All I ever hear from red state friends is how positive the atmosphere is when they go out whereas I cannot do shit because any places of interest remain closed while being bombarded with ads and boards about how we should 'mask up'
