Do what you have to do to survive. Weed is certainly better for you than anything you'd get from a doctor. The big problem is that weed might also pacify you too much.
I've noticed I now have a constant low level of stress due to ever increasing COVID idiocy. I can't seem to shake it. I can get my mind off of it for 30 minutes or so during an intense workout or while focused on a work problem, but it keeps coming back up. it's enough to know the stress is damaging me. I need to put my mind at ease, but I don't know how.
Try kava or valerian root. In moderation.
