read the quote again. fascism was developed to counter communism. you're living in an idealist world. only fascism beats communism. only power beats power. once you have communism you can't just prattle on about muh rights... you're not going to get them. and it's highly debatable that too many individual rights is actually what leads to making communism possible in the first place. the only right left standing in their way is gun rights, and they're very close to turning the majority of individuals, who have rights, to use their right to vote against gun rights.
