Something I noticed for the work competition curve is how one sided and blatantly unfair companies are becoming. It used to be that white was right. Now though, you can have a Bachelors/Masters, 10 years experience, some certifications and still be outbeaten by some street thug who can barely speak english. It's disgusting and annoying.

There are fields in which companies can't afford to be picky regarding skin color. This is often the case, if not always, for jobs such as electrician for instance, or plumber. When the power is down or the toilets are clogged, politics take the back seat, it's the whatever it takes moment.
