Because I enjoy the company and discussion of the very few people on Poal who aren't here to shitpost, complain or lick boot. The rest of the users are just here to waste time or stir up shit, like you are doing. I just want a platform for intelligent or at least in depth discussion and I can occasionally find it here in some of the smaller subs.

I have been here since voat started sucking. Im here because I want to be, not because voat shut and I got no where else to go so I will bitch because this isnt voat. Im pretty much here cause there is no where better. As far as shit posting goes, well thats 90% of the internet.

I have been here longer than you. I saw this place grow, slowly, until the Voat shutdown influx. It has always been a club that favors the earliest members over everyone else. Voat did that too, but here it is more of a concerted effort to hate on new users, especially Goats. It's unfortunate that Voat and Poal had to mix with no other real alternatives available at the time of Voat's death, but it happened and this is the result.
It didn't have to be this way, but it is. You're going to have to deal with it the same as all the rest of us have to. No site of this kind lives forever without either changing to what Reddit is, selling out like Digg did or getting murdered like Voat was. Poal is just your current stop on the journey through alternative content aggregation sites. There will be another coming around the corner soon.
I pretty much agree with most of what you said. I have been here since the site started, just didnt sign up till I got done with voat. Im not so sure about another coming around in the current situation though.
