I have to wear a shame muzzle to enter, but after passing the check-out area, I pull it down and wear it as a chin diaper.

An older gentleman wearing his mask saw me and said, "It's nice to see a face!" I said, "Pull yours down." He did, and I shook his hand.

I said, "This is still America, isn' it?" He said, "You know, I don't know anymore."

I headed to the check-out, paid for my stuff, and as soon as I got my receipt, I removed the muzzle completely and walked toward the door. (What are they gonna do...kick me out?)

As I walked past the other check-out lines, I saw two women glaring at me, horrified. "Oh. My. God!" one said loudly. The other screeched, "Take his picture! Take his picture!"

You guys must live in some restrictive places. I was asked why I was not wearing a mask in Nordstrom, and I told them, "I am not political." She went on about 'company policy' and whatnot and how I had to, but I said, "I'm not gonna wear a mask. If you require that I wear one, then I will leave." So I put the shoes down and walked out.

As I was walking out, a masked chick was walking in and she rolled her eyes. I turned around and said, "Did you just roll your eyes at me?" She said, "I'm sorry, no". I could tell she was embarrassed because she was called for her bullshit. She should be even more embarrassed that she didn't have the salt to back up her overt snobery.
