Or a 22 caliber air rifle, get the molds and you can make more pellet's, also for the 12ga. Get a single shot break action. Then you can use adaptors for other calibers.

A crossbow or a compound bow is far better.

Even a cheap compound bow can do far more damage and fire faster than most air rifles. And ya, I’m considering the PCP rifles.

Air guns are good for fun and practice and maybe some very small game hunting.

Some of those air rifles fire pellets at 1,200 feet per sec +. Close range they are deadly and quiet.

Not a cheap one but there are ones GREAT for hunting. You dont need gun powder and can make more pellet's with tire weights. Also much less sound than a 22lr.
