That is actually a very interesting theory. I suppose this is a survival mechanism to avoid being murdered by violent males.

I do think that the less I socialize with people the more I am able to think clearly about what is going on culturally and politically. I think there is a tendency to move toward consensus in any social group. Do females do this more than males? Maybe.

This has been studied in monkeys. It's not aneurotypical males, but ones who aren't concerned with maintaining their place in society (typically low and high status males) who think for themselves.

It's less a survival mechanism to avoid being killed, and more a mechanism to avoid being expelled from the group. This is supported by how the NPCs speak and act. They are overly concerned with social signaling, consensus, tattling and appeals to authority.
