Be me. Be white. Low income childhood. Homeless in late teens. No scholarships for white men. Take out loans to go to school. Now in early 20s. Homeless again. Now with massive debt. Feel like dumbass. Get entry level phone sales job at ultra liberal company. Really good at it. Passed over 4 times for promotion - all go to dumb, entitled diversity hires. Head honcho pulls me aside one day. Tells me I’m the best hire he’s ever made but he’s literally not allowed to promote a white man. I get new job. First week on the the job, meet SVP of department. She’s an ultra-rich Indian woman. She tells me it’s her goal to eradicate the patriarchy and she will never allow a single white male to be promoted. Start my own company. Buying my first house in a few days. Don’t let them get you down.

We have egg hens, and vegetables. Some fruit trees that are already bearing (got them with the property). I hunt and that usually gets us enough meat. The wife likes fish so I showed her how to make traps and run nets, but she’s pregnant now so I’ll have to pick that up.

Thing is, I have more free time now than I ever had with my jobs before.

We can all do it. OP found his path and it’s radically different from mine. Study yourself, and take small steps. It took me ten years to reach this far, maybe you can do it faster, I’m pretty fucking lazy
