From what I've seen, pro-pedo advocates still have to tread carefully.
Keep in mind that a lot of lesbians and trans-men ended up that way because of trauma related to sexual abuse. I also read that lesbians were instrumental in kicking pro pederast advocates out of early gay organisations like the Matachine society.

They’re literally elected to governments and pass bills legalizing sex with children. This is already happening. In Europe.

Politicians usually are able to push things their constituents don't want or approve of, simply by hiding it or misdirecting everyone to some bigger issue.
