I believe that they actually dropped the P back in the 80s due to having trouble being accepted in the public eye. I can’t remember where I read this, but I’m 99% certain pedos were openly allowed to be in their parades up until they realized it was hurting their chances of being accepted. Kicking out the pedos allowed them to use the “two consenting adults” line.
