I'm glad I never got any. I didn't hate them when I was younger but never wanted one myself. Now I think they're tacky on most people. As soon as I turned 18 people would ask, "When are you going to get a tattoo?" You'd think the people where I grew up were Maori from the way they treat tattoos. Like it's a rite of passage into adulthood for them.
