I'm a licensed agent. I went through all the classes. Its a fucking scam.
SO SAY WE ALL!!
and if you DID ever need to make a claim or whatever, they'll fight you tooth and nail and be massive cunts trying to pay as little as possible leaving you wondering just why you've been paying them all these years... and still we all do it.
With occasional exceptions, of course. That time I accidentally ran over all those illegal aliens the insurance covered my repairs with no hassle whatsoever. That seemed to have just been luck, though.
Modern insurance was born out of the racketeering and protection criminal gangs of the 1920's... and not much has changed.
I thought so too. It's like a gamble but you're gambling against yourself. Well, over the summer I would had lost. $30k of damage to my home, all paid for by insurance. So glad I didn't cancel it.
Over the 9 years i had my last truck i maybe paid 7k in insurance. Totalled it this winter and insurance gave me 22k for it. Thats a win for me.
Glad you weren't injured. Despite people thinking they hit the $jackpot no amount of money is worth a lifelong injury.
You don't like paying for no services rendered? What's not to like?
