they didnt want you to forget
Seems like a good sub.
They are not even trying.g to hide it anymore. I once just thought about buying something and got ads for it.
You've picked the right sub.
They've been doing this for years now. With all the data you give them, they're not going to letit go to waste.
It's just surprising that I've never seen them be so blatant about it before.
yeah it hits people at different times. It all depends on what the algos pick up in the conversations and they're not perfect so often times people don't how the ads they're seeing all over the web are related.
Try RadioDroid. Its free, open source, and doesn't spy on you. Sure, its not the same thing, but it gets the job done without being evil.

That's super interesting. Thank you very much, sincerely.
You're welcome. Another great replacement for Spotify and Pandora is NewPipe. Its a YouTube client that removes all the ads, allows you to make playlists and play videos in the background. Plus, it has an option to use SoundCloud and you can download stuff. It's pretty fucking sweet.
Alexa overhears that same conversation in your home verbally between you and your wife and will serve up ads for it.
That would be an issue if I had one of those Amazon devices. But I don't. Because I don't enjoy having my eves dropped.
My ex once took me to a store to help her buy a sports bra (free reign to stare at, and grope her tits) no texting or anything involved, just talking. When I got home, I had bra ads all over my Kikebook. That's what pushed me over the edge on rooting my phone and turning off every bit of data gathering I could, as well as uninstalling the Kikebook app.
I really tried to trick my phone repeating the same product several times a day to it and it never worked. I'm careful on what I install and which permissions I give. I always disable fb and twitter, if "disable" does anything.
