Yes, the maintenance is better but I too would like to understand the business model and how the site is able to run so well. The question of downvoting is an interesting one (is that what's causing the micomanagement of posts?). I also really liked the downvoting (it was a pleasure to watch all/new and see kikes, shills and pedos stomped into oblivion) but I had already taken a vow never to downvote (except in the case of pedo content or illegal shit). I'm pretty proud that I honored that on Voat but now that it's the rule, I wonder if it was the right thing to do.
