Why the hell would the natural gas lines be frozen? It wasn't that fucking cold!
Moisture in the natural gas lines froze and clogged lines. It's a thing. Look it up.
I assume that the lines were not buried below the frost line, like we do up north. Or maybe they don't have a frost line in Texas??? Something like that.

Then you don't have moisture in your natural gas line. Understand the difference?

I don't think so. This is a once in a 100 year event, just like you see with flooding sometimes. It is true that they probably haven't done enough in weatherization, but someone else will have to figure how mush is truly required.
