It's just a little fucking snow holy shit

we have furnaces in Texas you fucking moronic qtard...and unlike the north we have AC units also...

what we didn't have was electricity to power the fucking furnace...with lows around 5 degrees 2 nights straight...100+ hrs below freezing...

in short, turn it sideways, lube it with chunky peanut butter, sprinkle some roofing nails on top, AND SHOVE IT

[–] 2 pts

Wood burning stove you dumb nigger. Stop depending on the government for basic survival

[–] 1 pt

look birdbrain, such a thing requires fuel...dried fuel, so it's not like I can go cut down my trees for it when I need it...get the point????

turn it, lube it, sprinkle it, shove it troll

[–] 0 pt

First you need the furnace BEFORE the snow comes.

Lol let me school you on basic cold survival via jewtube:

Wet wood? No problem! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L-5g7-AyqHA

Stuff wet wood under your wood burning furnace, it’ll dry without igniting the wood.

I’m not a troll, you’re just fucking stupid to prepare

So then you didn't have a generator.

[–] 1 pt

I know...how lame...here I've been a carpenter for 36 years and I still haven't gotten a generator...

never had use for one before this...and unless this is the beginning of a grand solar minimum, probably won't again...if shit totally hits the fan, won't have enough fuel to run it long anyway...just have to go to straight barbarism I guess

[–] 0 pt

I run a generator to charge batteries and run corded tools.

[–] 0 pt

and unless this is the beginning of a grand solar minimum, probably won't again.

You seem angry. It's not good to be angry.

It's a joke you fucking faggots, maybe you should shove it up your ass sideways.

[–] 2 pts

angry is relative....I want explanations of why it wasn't a rolling blackout, but a static one...how come the rich fucks never got their power turned off? (yeah, I already know the answer to that one)...etc...in short, I want some blood on the streets, and those streets need include the fucks that allowed this to happen most likely on purpose to make their shekels....

[–] 0 pt

Anger is a feminine emotion. And hoping for bloodshed seems to be a fantasy of the impotent. It feels good to say "oh just wait they'll get their comeuppance someday." But saying it does nothing to make that comeuppance more likely to happen.

to be fair it if we had texan heat in england people would die too, its not like they expected it to snow and some people where bound to be put in to a really shitty position

[–] 0 pt

People in england have air conditioners. People in texas have air conditioners that they use for heating.

[–] 1 pt

thats the thing, we dont have air conditioners because its never really hot enough to justify it, the most people ever use is a fan

[–] 0 pt

No wonder englishmen are so chill.

[–] 2 pts

How much do you think a furnace costs? And you left out alot of details. But ya know, fuckin yankees. And its Texan bitch.

[–] 0 pt

They already have a heat pump. The furnace would have been maybe $200 more.

[–] 0 pt

You dont know shit about Texas do you?

[–] 0 pt

I know that when you get a fucking inch of snow you fill up the news for a month.

What good is a furnace if the electricity is out and the natural gas lines are frozen?

[–] 2 pts

Why the hell would the natural gas lines be frozen? It wasn't that fucking cold!

[–] 1 pt

Moisture in the natural gas lines froze and clogged lines. It's a thing. Look it up.

I assume that the lines were not buried below the frost line, like we do up north. Or maybe they don't have a frost line in Texas??? Something like that.

It's not the natural gas itself freezing!

[–] 0 pt

My van has s natural gas and it ran fin in-25 last week

That was one of the big problems... see: https://archive.vn/IOLsw

Then search for "freeze-off".

Then, pay attention.

[–] 0 pt

So, the gas producing company didn't invest money in what is required to prevent people from dying so they should be liable.

[–] 1 pt

Wood burning stove you dumb nigger, stop depending on the government for your basic survival needs

That would make the most sense.

I live in a very rural area of the Pacific Northwest. Every year I prepare for power outages, because we always have them. The city dwellers never think about that because it rarely happens. It would be interesting to see what would happen to Seattle without power for a week.

[–] 1 pt

Power sub stations are not protected well at all and would set a city into the dark ages if you took out three of them around the city.

Your pondering could be a real experiment if you’re creative enough

[–] 1 pt

Maybe they would have a furnace if the media hadn't pushed global warming so much.

It's just a little power outage, that makes it impossible to buy supplies, food, fuel, etc.

But yes - poke away.

[–] 0 pt

That's why you need bitcoin!

[–] 0 pt

(((OP)))

Dumb fuck.

It was a power outage. Should they get a nuclear power plant with their jewbucks?

[–] 1 pt

So get a generator too.

[–] 1 pt

And how are you powering your furnace with your generator?

You also need a transfer switch, and at least a 6000W generator.

This is why I laugh at you Americans, thinking you're so tough. The weather you're having in Texas is a nice Spring day compared to where I live.

[–] 0 pt

You can calculate wattage by Amps*Volts. 120volt 15Amp furnace requires 1800 watts.

[–] 0 pt

just spend more money than you have due to israel's manufactured pandemic of a nonexistent virus goy
